Allan J. MacQuarrie has completed one year at The Dickinson School of Law where he is a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Gordon Johnson Law School Scholarship.  Mr. MacQuarrie is a graduate of Columbia University where he majored in Political Science.  At Columbia, he was a member of the varsity basketball team and received the Sheldon B. Preschel Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award.  His previous experience includes an internship at an investment bank and a position as a Commercial Real Estate Finance Group Analyst for a financing company in New York, NY.

Carsen Nesbitt will graduate in May 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she is Staff Editor of the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law.  Ms. Nesbitt is a magna cum laude graduate of Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  While at Westminster, she was President of the Student Government Association and studied abroad at Oxford University.  Ms. Nesbitt’s previous experience includes an internship where she researched grant opportunities and guided clients through grant writing and application procedures.

Tarah E. Park has completed her second year at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she is Staff Editor of the Law Review.  A native of Pittsburgh, Ms. Park graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude.  She was on the Dean’s List every semester at Westminster and was inducted into the Pi Sigma Pi Honor Society.  In her first summer internship, she gained experience in legal research and writing on a variety of topics.

Joy E. Sadaly has returned to the Knox firm after completing her second year at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  Prior to entering law school, Ms. Sadaly earned a Masters in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from the University of Rochester.  While at the University of Rochester, she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Basketball Team and received the Unsung Hero Award.  Ms. Sadaly spent a semester clerking in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and has previously interned with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Physician Services Division.
