Peter W. Yoars, Jr.  Has Joined Our Firm

Peter W. Yoars, Jr. is a new associate with Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yoars was a senior trial attorney in the New York City metropolitan area, concentrating his practice in medical malpractice and personal injury.  

Mr. Yoars earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Allegheny College, where he played varsity football as part of the team that captured the 1990 NCAA National Championship.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law in 1997 and is licensed to practice in New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.  Mr. Yoars has family ties to northwestern Pennsylvania, including the late Irving O. Murphy and the late Douglas J. Murphy, both former medical malpractice defense attorneys.  His cousins, Dr. and Mrs. Nicholas J. Fedorka reside in Meadville where Dr. Fedorka is an oral surgeon associated with Meadville Medical Center. 

At the Knox firm, he joins a team of litigators experienced in the legal defense of professionals, commercial enterprises, and insurance companies.  Attorney Francis J. Klemensic, who heads the litigation department, and Attorney Yoars specifically focus on the defense of health care professionals.
