Mr. Wachter recently stepped down from the Partnership's Board of Directors after serving since 2008, including five years as Board Chair.

John Buchna, CEO of the Partnership, said he and the current Board of Directors wanted to honor his "vision and countless hours of service to the Board, the organization, and the downtown community as a whole. His contributions and guidance enable us to move forward in our efforts to help revitalize downtown Erie."

At Knox Law, Mr. Wachter focuses his practice on representing governmental entities, municipalities, school districts, authorities and special purpose entities. He also represents private business entities in their interactions with local, state and federal government as part of Knox Law's Public Strategies service.
