The ADA and other EEO Laws in the Era of COVID-19: A Review of Recent EEOC Guidance

On September 8, 2020, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission published a technical assistance guide containing questions and answers relating to application of employment discrimination laws to circumstances created by COVID-19. Mark Wassell will summarize key information that is relevant to the most common issues arising in the workplace.

Topics to be covered include those relating to an employers’ rights and obligations when monitoring their workforce to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, accommodating employees who are at a high risk of contracting the virus, and providing the option of working from home.
