Mark Wassell Speaks on #metoo Movement and Workplace Harassment in Mercer County

Mark Wassell, shareholder at Knox Law, will speak at a breakfast briefing tomorrow, May 10, in Hermitage, PA on "The #metoo Movement: The Need to Refocus on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace." The event is co-sponsored by the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH, Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lawrence County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Knox Law.

Attorney Wassell will review current laws relating to sexual harassment, creating an effective sexual harassment policy, and the importance of making supervisors and employees aware of the policy.

At Knox Law, Attorney Wassell counsels and defends employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He represents employers in a range of sectors including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and education. His practice includes hiring and termination issues, claims of discrimination and harassment, drug testing, employee handbooks, employment and severance agreements, grievance arbitration, and collective bargaining. He frequently handles matters before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, and similar state agencies. He also conducts in house training programs for employers on a number of employment topics and speaks often to a variety of business and HR groups throughout northwestern Pennsylvania and beyond.
