Robert D. Zaruta Named Shareholder of Knox Law

We are proud to announce that Robert D. Zaruta has been named a Shareholder of Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C.

Mr. Zaruta’s practice is focused on a variety of labor & employment matters, including litigation and workers’ compensation. He has extensive experience working with both private and public employers, counseling clients on hiring and firing issues, wage and hour issues, employer/independent contractor issues, collective bargaining, employee handbooks, and compliance with workplace laws including FMLA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA and more.

He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.

Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, he worked as a law clerk to administrative law judges and at a boutique labor & employment law firm in the Wilkes-Barre area before joining Knox Law in 2015. He lives in Erie with his wife, Laura and their two children. He serves as a board member for both Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania and NAMI of Erie.
