Careers for Lawyers & Law Students
Knox Law hires graduates from accredited and respected law schools who have demonstrated superior academic performance. For some positions, additional training (such as CPA, MBA and/or tax background) may be necessary. We believe that assisting associates in the development of their practice is essential to the success of the firm. Therefore, all associates participate in our Associate Development Program which offers a wide range of training through mentoring, workshops and reading assignments.
Many of our associates are products of our own Summer Associate Program in our Erie office. Each summer, we hosts law students who gain experience by working directly with a variety of attorneys in our office. In addition to legal experience, the program offers an array of social activities so that participants can get to know the members of the firm and become familiar with the Erie community. If you are an exceptional student and interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply using your schools on-campus interview process. If we are not scheduled at your school, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis in August and September of each of year.
Knox Law is also interested in discussing the possibility of employment of experienced attorneys who may meet the needs of the firm. Lateral hires may be considered for Associate or Shareholder status.
