Vegas F. Kastberg

Vegas F. Kastberg focuses his practice on environmental law and real estate. His prior experience includes working as an attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), serving as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Environment and Natural Resource Division, as a legal intern for DEP, and as a research analyst for a private firm in Washington, D.C.
His DEP experience includes representing the Commonwealth in court of common pleas litigation, administrative proceedings, and Commonwealth Court appeals, drafting Consent Order and agreements, reviewing enforcement documents, and counseling various DEP programs. His DOJ experience includes state and federal environmental issues and various litigation matters. Vegas also worked for Northwestern Legal Services, representing clients in various court proceedings.
Vegas earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and earned a B.A. in History from New York University. He is proficient in Spanish.
