Alexander K. Cox Named Shareholder of Knox Law
We are proud to announce that Alexander K. Cox has been named a Shareholder of Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C.
Mr. Cox focuses his practice on litigating complex and commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country, including contract, business, employment, trust and estate, intellectual property, regulatory, and constitutional matters. His practice also includes protecting clients’ intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
He graduated cum laude from The George Washington University and earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. After law school, he clerked with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit before joining a large, global law firm in Washington D.C.
He joined Knox Law in 2016 and lives in Erie with his wife, Emily, and their three children. He serves as a board member for the Erie County Bar Association and the Erie Yacht Club Foundation and as a Corporator for the Hamot Health Foundation. He is included on the inaugural 2021 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Law.
