Attorneys Sennett and Wachter Successfully Resolve Dispute for Erie's Public Schools

The resolution resulted in the return to Erie's Public Schools of $305,710 which was previously withdrawn by the Department of Education from the School District subsidy. In addition, Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School dropped an additional claim in the amount of $416,467.
Finally, as part of the Settlement and Release Agreement, Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School agreed to comply with the Department of Education guidelines for calculation of student payments from Erie's Public Schools into the future.

He represents numerous municipal authorities, boroughs, townships, and school districts. He also serves as bond counsel and underwriters counsel for governmental issues.
Mr. Wachter focuses his practice on representing governmental entities, municipalities, school districts, authorities and special purpose entities. He also represents private business entities in their interactions with local, state and federal government as part of Knox Law's Public Strategies service.
