Jennifer E. Gornall and Julia M. Herzing Present Legal Tips to Teachers

Jennifer E. Gornall and Julia M. Herzing, shareholders at Knox Law, will present to teachers at the Millcreek Township School District tomorrow, Tuesday August 22, 2017.

They will present "(Almost) 30 Legal Tips in 30 Minutes," playing off the popular segment from Knox Law's annual Municipal Law Symposium.

Ms. Gornall, who focuses her practice on local governmental law, with a specific focus on education and special education law, will offer tips relating to Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) programs, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), weapons, and student rights to freedom of speech and expression (including on social media).

Ms. Herzing, who focuses her practice on a variety of labor & employment matters, including litigation, will offer tips relating to transgender youth, educator misconduct, use of technology in a school setting, and clearances.
