Joy E. Taylor Appointed to Erie County Board of Health

Joy E. Taylor has been appointed to a four-year term on the Erie County Board of Health. She was appointed by County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper and confirmed by County Council last week. She previously served as an intern at the Erie County Department of Health before attending law school and after receiving her Masters of Public Health from Tulane University of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

The Erie County Board of Health is a five-member governing board who "act in an advisory capacity to the County's Health Director, who also serves on this Board."

At Knox Law, Ms. Taylor focuses her practice in the areas of business, health law, and intellectual property & technology, and she is a registered patent attorney. She is passionate about keeping track of trends in the health care industry and active on Twitter as "@Hospitally."
