Knox Law Attorneys Speak at Annual HVA Law Seminar

Elliott Ehrenreich, Nadia Havard, Robert Zaruta andMark Wassell will each speak at the annual HVA Law Seminar, held this year as a webinar on Friday, June 12, 2020.

HVA Senior Living Alliance hosts the event each year, typically at Saint Mary's Asbury Ridge. This year's webinar will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end by 3:30 p.m.

Elliott Ehrenreich will speak about the Compliance and Ethics Program - Requirements and Best Practices. Nadia Havard will speak about the SECURE Act, CARES Act and other related, important announcements and updates. Robert Zaruta will speak about where Employment Law and Workers' Compensation intersect. Mark Wassell will review how to handle discrimination charges filed with the EEOC. Finally, Mark Harmon, Compliance Assistance Specialist with our local OSHA office, will provide a Federal OSHA update.

This is the 12th year Knox Law has participated, offering nursing home administrators, nursing management and human resource professionals legal updates on various topics.
