Knox Law Mourns Death of Donald E. Wright Jr.

Donald E. Wright Jr. died on February 2, 2026 at the age of 77.
He practiced law at Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C. in Erie for over 40 years. He led our Governmental Practice group for many years and counseled public entities regarding complex public issues. He was a proud Eagle Scout and volunteered in several capacities for the FIrst Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
Current Knox Law President Neal Devlin had this remembrance: “Don was an excellent lawyer and always brought a smile to everyone who encountered his larger than life personality. He was an instrumental part of Knox Law’s history and success, particularly in representing public entities. He will be missed by all.”
