Mark T. Wassell Speaks at Regional Seminar

Mark T. Wassell is speaking tomorrow, May 12, at a breakfast briefing seminar sponsored by Knox Law, the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania & Eastern Ohio, and the Shenango Valley and Lawrence County Chambers of Commerce.

Over 25 employers will hear his “Discrimination Law Update: ADA, Pregnancy, and LGBT Issues in the Workplace.” Mr. Wassell will discuss the changes in the law, provide suggestions and guidance on how to comply with the law, and identify pitfalls that employers may encounter when complying with the laws, including potential fixes.

This breakfast briefing is held twice a year at the Training & Workforce Development Center at LindenPointe in Hermitage,PA.

At Knox Law, Mr. Wassell counsels and defends employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He represents employers in a range of sectors including manufacturing, healthcare and education. His practice includes hiring and termination issues, claims of discrimination and harassment, drug testing, employee handbooks and collective bargaining. He also conducts in house training programs for employers on a number of employment topics.
