Six Knox Law Attorneys Selected for 2016 PA Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars Lists

Bryan G. Baumann and Mark G. Claypool, shareholders at Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C., have been selected for inclusion on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list for 2016.

Additionally, four shareholders have been selected for inclusion on the 2016 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list: Neal R. Devlin, Elliott J. Ehrenreich, Jeremy T. Toman and Timothy S. Wachter.

According to their website, Super Lawyers is "a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations." Only 5% of attorneys in a state are selected for the Super Lawyers® list; only 2.5% of attorneys are selected for the Rising Stars list. "Rising Stars" candidates must be 40 years old or younger, or have practiced law for 10 years or less.

Bryan Baumann

Bryan G. Baumann is a full-time litigator and is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated. He has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and construction disputes, injunction proceedings, and trust & estate disputes. He has argued before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and represented clients in federal and state courts in various jurisdictions.

Mr. Baumann is licensed to practice in Illinois, New York, and Pennsylvania and has been included on this list for two years, having previously been listed on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars List in 2013 and 2014. He was also selected as a 2015 "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer.


Mark G. Claypool

Mark Claypool

Mark G. Claypool has been on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list since 2011. He is Board Certified in Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, and his practice is focused on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Mr. Claypool regularly assists banks, credit unions and other financial institutions in loan workouts and collections actions. He has also successfully counseled numerous Chapter 11 cases to confirmation and represented individuals and sole proprietorships in complex Chapter 7 and 13 proceedings. Mr. Claypool is an appointed member of the Local Rules Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.


Neal R. Devlin

Neal Devlin

Neal R. Devlin focuses his practices on litigating complex and commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country. He litigates contract, business and intellectual property disputes and also practices in constitutional law, appellate practice, and commercial, employment and tort litigation. Mr. Devlin has been on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list in 2008, 2010 and 2013-2016, and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation since 2013. He was also selected as a 2014 "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer and as one of Erie’s 40 Under 40 in 2015 by the Erie Reader. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Knox Law.


Elliott J. Ehrenreich

Elliott Ehrenreich

Elliott J. Ehrenreich, who is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New York, concentrates his practice on business acquisitions and financings, health law and other general business transactions. He has successfully represented a diverse range of clients including businesses, franchises, physician practices, a national healthcare service provider and several nonprofit entities throughout Western Pennsylvania and Western New York. Mr. Ehrenreich speaks frequently at various community, professional and firm events. He has been on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list since 2014 and was selected as a 2015 "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer.


Jeremy T. Toman

Jeremy Toman

Jeremy T. Toman, licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York, focuses his practice on real estate, business law and environmental law. He has represented commercial clients and individuals in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leases, financing, formation and organization of condominiums, and condemnations. Mr. Toman has negotiated numerous oil and gas leases, earning his clients over $27 million in up-front bonus payments. He has also advised clients on business formation, choice of entity, business structure and organization for publicly and privately held entities, both for-profit and non-profit. He has been on this list since 2015.


Timothy S. Wachter

Timothy (Tim) Wachter

Timothy S. Wachter focuses his practice on representing governmental entities, municipalities, school districts, authorities and special purpose entities. He also represents private business entities in their interactions with local, state and federal government as part of Knox Law's Public Strategies service. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an aide to Governor Tom Ridge, a Special Assistant to Governor Mark Schweiker, and a Pennsylvania Site Advance Team Member for the White House. Mr. Wachter has been on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list since 2013 and was selected as one of Erie’s 40 Under 40 in 2014 by the Erie Reader.
