Posted on October 17, 2018

Thomas (Tom) Tupitza

Thomas A. Tupitza, President and Shareholder of Knox Law, speaks tomorrow at the Nonprofit Partnership's 18th annual Nonprofit Day. This year's theme is "Thriving vs. Surviving" - the event will focus on what it takes to build a thriving nonprofit organization.

Attorney Tupitza's presentation, "Where Was the Board?", will discuss the legal and ethical obligations of nonprofit Board members and the structures necessary to ensure good governance and good management. He has plenty of experience to draw on, having served on, chaired, and counseled a variety of nonprofit boards for over the course of his legal career.

At Knox Law, Attorney Tupitza advises clients in the private, public and nonprofit sectors on finance, real estate and governance matters. A past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, he is active as bond counsel in tax-exempt financing transactions and is a title insurance agent in Pennsylvania and New York. He has served as the firm’s President since 2007.
