Tim Wachter and Matt Lasher Speak at PSATS Regional Forum

Tim Wachter and Matt Lasher will speak at the upcoming PSATS Regional Forum in Erie on Thursday, August 4, 2022. PSATS, or the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, "is committed to preserving and strengthening township government by lobbying state and federal lawmakers and educating and informing its members through workshops, an annual conference and exhibit show, and award-winning publications." They have more than 30 full-time employees and operate under the direction of a 13-member executive board, elected each spring by the membership.

Timothy (Tim) Wachter

Tim will speak on "The Latest on Short-Term Rentals," discussing the critical need for municipalities to be prepared to address the numerous issues that can result, including resident complaints and registration and zoning challenges.

At Knox Law, as a member of the Governmental, Public Finance & Bonds and Business & Tax Practice Groups, and as lead for Knox Law Public Strategies, Tim regularly advises governmental, business and nonprofit clients on highly complex legal, regulatory and public policy related matters.


Matthew (Matt) Lasher

Matt will speak about "Disciplining Difficult Employees," reviewing why it is important for supervisors and senior staff to tackle employee issues before they get worse, and how to best handle related situations, including appropriately documenting and communicating discipline.

At Knox Law, Matt concentrates his practice on labor & employment law.
