Tom Tupitza Receives Presidential Award for Community Service

Tom Tupitza received the President's Gold Volunteer Service Award from the Youth Leadership Institute of Erie last week, at their Corporate Hero's Breakfast.

The award, issued by AmeriCorps and signed by President Biden, recognizes Tom for his 500+ hours of community service. He has served many nonprofits in our region as board member, trustee, volunteer, legal counsel, and more, including many leadership positions. He currently serves as Vice Chair of The Erie Community Foundation's Board of Trustees; trustee of Westminster College; and director of The Jefferson Educational Society, and the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofits Organizations. He is a Northwest Pennsylvania Business Advisory Council Member for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, and serves on the Board of Managers of Three Forts of Presque Isle, LLC.
