Thomas A. Tupitza, President of Knox Law, received the 2022 Tocqueville Award at yesterday's Leadership Recognition Reception held by United Way of Erie County.

He has chaired the Planned Giving and Leadership Giving Committees and the Fund Distribution Division, and has participated on many other committees, panels, and task forces, including the campaign cabinet.

Tom has also served many other nonprofits in our region, including The Erie Community Foundation, Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership, The Nonprofit Partnership, UPMC Hamot, Hamot Health Foundation, Erie City Mission, Erie County Historical Society, Warner Theatre Preservation Trust, VisitErie, Westminster College, and others.

Honors Tom has received include the Four-Way Test Award (Rotary Club of Erie), Legends of Iroquois (Iroquois School District Foundation), Humanitarian Award (Eagle's Nest Leadership Corporation), Excellence Award (Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network), and the Everyday Leader Award (Pennsylvania Bar Association). He is also a honorary life member of the Hamot Health Foundation Board of Corporators.

Knox Law is proud to work with Tom Tupitza and we congratulate him on this honor.
