Another important tenet of Our Mission is to invest in people who will best serve our clients.
Professional excellence in the practice of law requires dedicated, hard-working attorneys and support staff. Our firm promotes mutual respect, cooperation, collegiality, and open communication.
We also understand that competitive compensation and benefits, challenging and rewarding work, and recognition for a job well done are important to our employees.
We strive to be fair and consistent at all times. Our efforts pay off with a very high retention of our most valuable resource — our people. Learn more about careers at Knox Law.
In achieving our clients’ objectives, our attorneys become well versed in the myriad of legal issues affecting clients’ professional and personal lives. We enjoy sharing this knowledge through speaking engagements and articles.
Many events and articles are related to our Knox Law Institute®, through which we host 4-6 programs per year, including our popular Municipal Law Symposium, for public entities; Workplace Law Forum, for business owners and human resource professionals; and Professional Advisor Symposium, for accounting, financial and insurance professionals.
Attendees to our annual Professional Advisor Symposium also receive detailed outlines specific to that year’s topics. Many of the publications are also available on our site. We have also been recognized nationally for thought leadership regarding Opportunity Zones, via Knox Law Public Strategies.
We are proud of our Knox Law family, including 23 paralegals, 39 attorneys, and 30 staff members, all contributing to achieve Our Mission.
Our paralegals serve many practice areas, including bankruptcy & creditors’ rights, business & tax, elder law, estate planning & administration, intellectual property & technology, litigation, and real estate.
Our attorneys include title insurance agents, certified public accountants, and members of the bars of several states (including Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, New Jersey, Alaska, and the District of Columbia).
Knox Law and our attorneys have been ranked nationally by the following organizations:
Best Lawyers in America®, since 1993
Best Law Firms List (Best Lawyers in America®), since 2010
Super Lawyers®, since 2007
Many of our attorneys are rated through Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, which recognize lawyers for their “strong legal ability and high ethical standards.”

Part of Our Mission is “to be leaders in our profession and the community.”

This commitment is firm wide and ranges from one-on-one tutoring of children to major leadership roles in nonprofit organizations.
Our attorneys have a long history of service to professional organizations as well, including leadership positions at the Erie County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, and Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund and Trust Fund. Members of the firm have been elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation, the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and the American Law Institute.
