ECBA Offers 'Ask-a-Lawyer' Service for Businesses Affected by COVID-19

Posted on April 07, 2020

The Erie County Bar Association (ECBA), in conjunction with WICU, is offering a free 'Ask-a-Lawyer' service this week, Monday April 6th through Thursday April 9th.

The service allows residents and business owners to call the COVID-19 'Ask-a-Lawyer' Helpline at 814-459-3111 for bankruptcy legal advice. The initial call, fielded by volunteer ECBA lawyers, is provided at no cost. More information can be found on the ECBA website.

Knox Law attorney Guy Fustine helped spearhead this program with ECBA President George Joseph and Executive Director Julie Kresge.

Mr. Fustine, Mr. Joseph and Ms. Kresge hope this service will help answer questions, calm nerves, and start a positive process moving forward for our community.

Guy Fustine was interviewed by WICU/Erie News Now reporter Lisa Adams on this weekend's The Insider show.
