Thomas C. Hoffman, II Speaks about Business Succession Planning

Posted on November 11, 2019

Thomas (Tom) Hoffman

Thomas C. Hoffman, II, Shareholder, will speak tomorrow on Business Succession Planning for the NW IRC. He will speak about different options for business succession, including the Family Private Equity Model, which allows the owner to retain ownership while a new President takes over day-to-day operations.

Mr. Hoffman will be the second of four speakers for the event, which was an invitation-only seminar hosted by NW IRC. Other speakers will address different aspects of business succession planning, including financial aspects and human resource considerations.

At Knox Law, Mr. Hoffman concentrates his practice on closely held business planning, business succession planning, implementation of sophisticated estate and trust planning, administration of complex estates and trusts, and the tax consequences of these matters. He has represented many landowners and forest or timber-related businesses throughout his career, and has spoken at this conference twice before, and other similar conferences as well.
