Thomas C. Hoffman, II Speaks at Clarion Forest Landowner Conference
Thomas C. Hoffman, II will speak tomorrow, February 20, at the 2016 Clarion Forest Landowner Conference. His topic is "Legal Strategies for Protecting Your Forest Land for Future Generations," and the audience will include over 100 private landowners.
The event, sponsored by Clarion County Forest Stewardship Committee, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources (DCNR) and Woodland Owners of Clarion Allegheny Valley (WOCAV), starts at 8:00am at Clarion University's Grunenwald Science & Technology Center.
Mr. Hoffman has worked closely with PA DCNR to develop plans for encouraging forest landowners to plan for future, ongoing maintenance and conservation of their land, and suggesting the use of estate planning tools.
At Knox Law, Mr. Hoffman's practice is focused on closely held business planning, business succession planning, implementation of sophisticated estate & trust planning, administration of complex estates & trusts, and the tax consequences of these matters.
